Terms and conditions

In order for me to carry out your relocation safely I ask that all craft be:

Fit for the journey

​Covered by full insurance

​Covered by a current safety certificate and a relevant licence for the Waterways

​Equipped with large tools, (which are too large for me to transport) i.e.Boat Pole and hook for non tidal waterways along with an anchor and chain for tidal Waterways and a working horn and tunnel light.


A deposit of 30% of the total cost agreed is required to secure the dates allocated


Cancellation  policy

Client  cancellation up to 14 days before the booked dates will not incur a charge as I will have an opportunity to offer my time to other people, and your deposit will be returned in full, however, client cancellation within 14 days of the date booked will incur a loss of deposit, to cover my costs for loss of time. The only exception is when the dates are postponed then your deposit will count towards that future date.

Any unforeseen costs due to delays in the agreed time allowance for the relocation due to anything out of my control such as emergency waterways delays/breakdown en-route will be addressed on a case by case basis.
